Schedule Duration: 11 Months

The rehab of the former Emrick Chevrolet car dealership represents one of the more significant renovations to occur in the Jackson Ward district, an area rich in history. This mixed-use renovation is comprised of 25 condominiums, all with unique, wide-open floor plans, high ceiling heights and large factory windows offering expansive cityscape views, and 5,000 square feet of commercial office space.
As a “Tax credit” development, MGT faced the early challenge of adding 5,000 square feet of livable penthouse space to the project while conforming to all rules and regulations outlined by the Department of Historic Resources. Working closely with Walter Parks Architects, MGT was able to successfully navigate the construction, deliver the project on time and complete the project within budget.
