At one time the site of this 36,000 square foot condo development was home to Mother Hubbard’s Bakery, a 6,000 square foot bakery factory. Due to long-term abuse and neglect the building had been condemned for years prior to the start of construction.
The project presented its own unique challenges as it was, in essence, a hybrid project with ground up and adaptive reuse components. It was up to MGT to work closely with the design team to establish the best approach to marrying the 30,000 square foot addition with the existing building structure while maintaining the historical integrity the area is known for. Through its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, MGT was able to deliver the project on time and within budget.
